    Only 3 in 100: Rajkot riders worst in helmet usage; Mumbai, Kochi report 93% compliance

    Among UP, Maharashtra, Gujarat, Karnataka, Kerala, Rajasthan, Haryana and Punjab, Rajkot topped the helmet violation list with only three in a hundred two-wheeler riders wearing the headgear. In Mumbai and Kochi, 93% were spotted wearing helmets. Kota performed worst with only 14% complying with the seatbelt wearing norm while Mumbai, Jaipur were the most compliant cities.
